Since shortly after the devastating earthquakeof 2010, Mission318 has been working alongside a local missionary named Anacias Joseph in the city of Capva, City Soleila community in the poorest slum in the western hemisphere. The population of Cite Soleil is 400,000 and most people are unemployed, with the majority of the population being children. In desperate need of shelter, food, and basic hygiene necessities, Mission318 purchased property in Titanyen and began developing a local church and school.
Their mission is to meet the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of the impoverished in the name of Jesus Christ through partnering with local churches that share their vision and faith statements.
